Our lovely gite has the floor space of 80m2 and is set in the beautiful French rural countryside which is only a five minute drive to all amenities (having a car is essential as there are no shops within walking distance.)

Enjoy your very own large, enclosed, private garden and heated swimming pool- which is 1.5 meters deep, 3 and 1/2 meters wide, 7 meters long and is fitted with a safety alarm.

Within the garden is a pond with goldfish and koi carp, there is safety fencing around the pond. The fish are fed at 6pm every day.

Table tennis, bat’s and balls are available.

Perfect for a bit of peace and quite and some relaxation.

Our traditional Charentais farm house is fully converted, however has all the original stone walls and wooden beams. My husband and I live in the other half of the converted farmhouse, adjacent to the gite.

Upstairs you will find a double bedroom looking over the countryside, equipped with air-conditioning. Downstairs is the living area, kitchen, bathroom and two other bedrooms.

The living room has satellite TV and Wi-Fi which is available throughout the gite and garden.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. We provide everything you need for your stay.

The bathroom has a shower, toilet and washing machine. The second bedroom has bunk beds and the third bedroom has a super king size bed that can be divided into two single beds if required and a wash basin.

We can also provide a cot for your baby, with a high chair and baby bath.

Throughout the gite you will find four sets of french doors which all lead to the garden, pool and pond with fountain and seating area.

Our four beautiful cats live here with us and they may wonder into the gite so please no animals allowed.

All bedding, towels and cleaning is included.

The gite is a five minute drive away from the village of Baignes which has bakeries, a supermarket, bars, restaurants, a tabac, doctor, a dentist and a very good pharmacy.

There are many beautiful towns and villages to visit throughout the region. Jonzac is just a twenty minute drive away and is famous for its ‘Thermal Spas’. The historical town has bars, restaurants, an indoor pool which is suitable for children and an outdoor lake with many activities such as paddle boarding and trampolining. Just over an hour away is Royan, which is perfect for a beach day out. The beautiful city of Bordeaux is only a fifty minute drive away and if you are coming to France to try the wine, the beautiful town of Saint-Émilion, surrounded by its vineyards and known for its wine, is only an hour drive away.

At the ‘Office de Tourisme’ you will find information to all the tourist attractions ihn the area.
